Tim Armstrong | Operation Ivy
Energy Guitar Plugin
Energy is a guitar plugin built around the classic tone of the 1989 Operation Ivy LP. Over-the-top punk distortion on the dirty side, like "Knowledge" and "Jaded," and a punchy, tight clean channel that stays fast and articulate, like "Sound System" and "Take Warning." The full range of that record, dirty to clean.
Tim Armstrong | Operation Ivy
Hectic Guitar Plugin
Hectic is built around the sound of the 1988 Operation Ivy EP. A harder, overdriven stompbox distortion on the dirty side, plus an aggressive but controlled clean channel built for playing fast. Keeping the distortion low on the clean tone is what lets the triads come through quick and clean.
